01 / What we’ll work on

Start with what people will use it for.

An education app, a browser and a tool for managing links each have different demands. Some need a quick opening screen. Others need saved progress, accounts or a connection to an existing platform. We work through those details before adding features to a list.

You can come to us with a finished specification or an idea that needs shaping. We help choose a useful first release, design the journeys and build the app. The plan covers devices, data, required permissions and the accounts needed for publishing.

01

Android apps

Build a mobile product for Android phones and the device features it needs. Layout, navigation and testing account for different screen sizes.

02

iPhone apps

Design an iOS experience around your product’s main tasks. We discuss device support, platform requirements and the release process during planning.

03

Connected products

Connect the app to your website or business systems where suitable interfaces are available. Accounts, permissions and data access are part of the scope.

04

A focused first release

Decide what people need on day one and what can follow later. That gives the design, build and review process a manageable starting point.

The handover

What you leave with.

Your agreed scope sets the exact deliverables. Here’s what we discuss when we plan the work.

  • Feature scope and user journeys
  • Mobile interface design
  • App development for agreed platforms
  • Required backend or API connections
  • Device testing and release builds
  • Store listing and publishing assistance

THE WORK, TAKING SHAPE

Every step has

From the first conversation to the final handover. Here’s how we approach your android & ios development project.

User journeys

Shape the first version

We discuss the audience, everyday use and essential features. Existing systems, budget and platform choices help define a realistic first release.

02
Screens

Work through the screens

We design the main journeys and show how people move through them. Sign-in, loading, empty states and errors get attention here too.

03
Development

Develop and test

We build the app in reviewable stages and test it on the agreed devices. You get to try the working product before release.

04
Store release

Prepare the release

We help assemble the release build and store materials. Publishing uses your developer accounts, with store review and any requested fixes handled through the agreed scope.

04 / Before we start

Good questions.
Clear answers.

A few things worth knowing before you decide. If your situation is different, ask us.

Ask about your project
Can you build for both Android and iOS?

Yes. We discuss whether you need both platforms at launch and choose the development approach around the app’s features, budget and maintenance needs. Platform coverage is stated in the proposal.

Can the app use my existing website accounts?

Often, yes. We need to check how your current sign-in and data systems work and whether they provide suitable access for a mobile app. Any necessary changes are agreed before development.

Do I need developer accounts?

You need the relevant store accounts if you want to publish under your business name. We can help you understand the setup. Account fees and store decisions are separate from our development work.

What happens after the app is released?

We agree a handover and any ongoing support before launch. Future features, platform updates and changes to connected services can be planned separately, with clear access to the project and release accounts.

A conversation is a good place to start.

Let’s work out
what you need.

Tell us what you’re building, who it’s for and what needs to happen first. We’ll talk through the scope with you.
